The focus on Algerian manuscript heritage in this series of episodes has yielded its first results, resulting in a new edition of al-Tha'labi's dictionary. Previously considered obscure, this is an act of justice for al-Tha'labi and the Algerian manuscript heritage. The dictionary was printed at the beginning of the last century without omissions, but now there is an urgent need to meticulously review the text, add relevant Quranic verses and Hadiths associated with each entry in the dictionary, and extract them. This is to bring the meaning closer to the author's intent and make it suitable for circulation and use, not differing in any way from modern dictionaries. It may stand out from some for its specialization and detailed treatment of foreign words found in the Quran and in classical Arabic dictionaries, including their associated verses and Hadiths.
