Majallatu Almajmaʻi Aljazāʼirīyi lillughati alArabīyah (Journal of Algerian Academy of the Arabic Language) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publishing ethics and integrity, adhering to the core principles of transparency, honesty, and fairness in scientific publishing.

Author Responsibilities:

  • Authorship: The author(s) must submit original research and present it accurately and objectively in a scientifically coherent manner according to the journal’s standards and publication policy. They must avoid sensitive, unethical, offensive, personal, racial, sectarian topics, and falsified or incorrect information. Translating others' work without proper citation is also prohibited. All individuals who made significant contributions to the research should be listed as contributing authors. They must all review the article thoroughly and explicitly agree on its content and its publication before submission. Acknowledgments should be made for individuals who contributed meaningfully but do not meet authorship criteria.

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure their work is original and provide proof of this. Any quotation or use of others' passages or words must be properly attributed to the original sources. The references list must include all cited books, publications, websites, and research referred to in the article. Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited. The journal uses plagiarism detection software to ensure originality and reserves the right to reject works that fail to comply.

  • Data and Results: Authors must present research results accurately, providing sufficient details to enable others to replicate the work if needed. Fabricating, falsifying, or manipulating data and results is unethical and unacceptable.

  • Multiple Submissions and Re-publishing: Authors cannot submit the same work to multiple journals or conferences simultaneously or publish duplicate work. Such actions are considered unethical. Authors must disclose any related publications or works under consideration during the submission process.

  • Disclosure of Funding Sources: Authors must disclose any funding sources for their work, ensuring that funding does not influence the results or interpretation of the research.

  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could affect the research or its interpretation. Any potential conflict of interest must be indicated in the article itself.

  • Reporting Errors: Authors are responsible for notifying the editor-in-chief or publisher of any errors found in their work after submission so that corrections can be made if possible.

  • Data Access and Retention: Authors must retain the data used in the research and provide it if requested by reviewers or the editorial board.

  • Objectivity: Reviewers must evaluate submitted research based on objective evidence and avoid personal biases or sectarian opinions. They must inform the editor-in-chief of any similar or overlapping works.

  • Timeliness: Reviewers must assess articles promptly through the Algerian Scientific Journals Portal (ASJP) within the specified time frame. If they find the article outside their expertise or cannot review it, they must decline the assignment.

  • Contributing to the Publishing Decision: Reviewers assist the editor-in-chief and editorial board in making the publishing decision and provide guidance for improving the article.

  • Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must refrain from reviewing articles for personal reasons or relationships that may present a conflict of interest.

Editor Responsibilities:
