Contemporary critical theories, primarily derived from structuralism, which considers poetry as a structure and strives to attribute literary phenomena with structural qualities, blending philosophical, linguistic, and mythological components, we must acknowledge the precedence achieved by ancient Arabic criticism. It viewed poetry as a structure or a garment requiring the tools needed by architects and tailors. This perspective stems from the insights of a world-renowned scholar, widely recognized as a pioneer in sociology, who first drew attention to the concept of human construction.
