Abstract

The continuous increase in the number of book titles published in Arabic is a sign of cultural awareness that is spreading, requiring concerted efforts to preserve and invigorate it. This growth aims for Arabic books to fulfill their desired role in national culture and secure a fitting place in the global library. Attention to quantity must be complemented by improving content and presentation, which falls under the responsibility of Arab publishers. Publishing Arabic books is a significant national issue that directly impacts the nation's future.

It's notable that many published works exhibit linguistic errors, stylistic inconsistencies, poor formatting, weak editing, inadequate documentation, and insufficient indexes. Therefore, publishers should take responsibility by promoting linguistic awareness, implementing clear publishing criteria, and employing linguistic supervisors to review texts before publication.

Publisher's linguistic care in presenting books with correct, unified spelling and linguistic style has a profound impact on linguistic awareness and plays a crucial role in safeguarding language from decline.
