Abstract

Before delving into this topic that has occupied us for decades, we felt it necessary to briefly touch upon the issue of linguistic communication or dissemination among modern linguists. We will refrain from implicitly comparing Arabic structures, which we will outline later at various levels consistent with the richness of Arabic meanings, rather than reducing them to a single semantic dimension. We also refrain from directly juxtaposing these structures with Western linguistic theories or perspectives on communication, in order to alert the reader to this distinction. It is impractical to assign a specific communicative scheme to each linguistic structure, as what applies to one example may not hold for many others. Thus, we avoid burdening this study with diagrams and data, trusting the specialized reader's understanding on one hand, and focusing our efforts on more essential matters on the other. Nonetheless, we present some occasional communicative diagrams or conceptualizations that we found suitable for the communication or dissemination process, emphasizing the need to develop Arabic linguistics with its unique characteristics alongside its participation in global linguistics.
