The philosophical perspective of Arabic science dominated and controlled throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. However, it was not the sole perspective; there was also a secondary view advocated by a few historians who focused on the original characteristics inherent in Arabic science. This opened the way for a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the history of Arabic science and its contribution to classical science. It became clear to these researchers that Arabic science continuously achieved a significant status akin to that of Greek science. Arabic sciences were characterized by their global influence, drawing from diverse sources. Renewing the writing of the history of Arabic science leads us to renew the history of sciences themselves, contributing to the history of science.
