Abstract

The Arabic language is considered one of the richest languages in terms of vocabulary. Scholars and researchers have examined these words from three perspectives: First, each word has a meaning, and every meaning has a suitable word, known as the 'specialist' view by some. Second, words can vary in meaning, and similar meanings are known as linguistic synonyms. Third, a word can have multiple meanings, including its opposite, known as lexical ambiguity. One of the most debated issues among scholars is linguistic synonymy, with some rejecting it and others supporting it. In our research, we explore the issue of linguistic synonymy in the context of the Quranic language, aiming to find a path between affirmation and rejection of this issue.
